At The Pallet LOOP, I build long-term relationships with collection customers, supporting our mission to recover and reuse LOOP pallets across the construction sector. I joined the team because I saw the chance to do something meaningful – shape real change within a challenging, yet high impact industry.
My previous roles at CHEP spanned Asset Retention, Commercial, and Strategic Project Management, where I assessed risk, developed mitigation plans, and led business critical initiatives. I also held Change Management Practitioner and Mental Health First Aider positions, which supported my focus on team wellbeing and effective change leadership.
My role at The Pallet LOOP involves:
- Engaging with existing large customers to review collection performance and explore future growth
- Analysing new collection sites and proactively building head-office relationships
- Connecting with newly active locations to initiate order placements
- Presenting our model to regional ops teams and project managers across the UK
- Championing the importance of circular economy within construction.
Asset recovery isn’t always straightforward, especially in construction, where relationships and goodwill matter as much as strategy. Navigating complex contractor layers and their client expectations requires persistence, emotional intelligence, and crystal-clear communication. The growing focus on compliance through frameworks and mandates is helping open doors for sustainable practices, and I’m proud to be part of that shift.
Rolling out LOOP to BAM Construction has been a recent milestone of which I’m incredibly proud. Collaborating closely, we delivered dual communications across their business, including a live webinar attended by around 40 operations personnel. Engagement was strong, and many asked thoughtful questions. We’ve seen traction through raised call-off purchase orders and interest from BAM Nuttall and BAM Ritchies, expanding our reach within the company.
Outside of work, I’m happiest walking in nature or spending time on day trips with my family. A good country pub garden never goes amiss either!
