We’re on a mission to transform the way building materials move throughout the construction industry
about us

The only circular economy pallet supplier to the UK CONSTRUCTION sector, our aim is to create a legacy of lasting change that accelerates the elimination of avoidable waste, repurposes PALLETS, and continuously improves safety.

OUR CREDENTIALS
Our approach to providing pallets might be new – but we’ve got a very long history in the pallet sector. Founded by some of the biggest names in the UK pallet industry, The Pallet LOOP™ is a joint venture business. Paul and Ryan Lewis are majority stakeholders in the Pallet LOOP alongside Scott Group Investments and BSW Timber.
In 2015, the Lewis brothers sold their family business to Scott Group in a deal that brought together the UK’s pallet market leaders. In the years that followed, Paul and Ryan’s passion for pallets did not wane – and neither did their relationship with the Scott Group leadership team.
The idea of The Pallet LOOP began to take shape in 2018. Today, the Scott Group is the engine room for The Pallet LOOP – manufacturing our distinctive green pallets and underpinning our recovery network.

Paul Lewis
FOUNDER
As founder of The Pallet LOOP, Paul graduated and worked for his family business – HLC (Wood Products) Ltd for 15 years. During that time HLC opened three additional pallet production facilities and increased company revenues from £3.5m to in excess of £50m. In 2019, Paul and his family sold HLC Ltd to Scott Group.
Since selling HLC, Paul has continued his passion for pallets by creating a new distribution model for the industry that’s designed to shift the construction sector away from the current practice of ‘deliver, distribute and discard’ to the more sustainable principles of ‘recover, repair, reuse’.
